Today I have some pictures from my last deployment to Southwest Asia in which we got a chance to see and ride some camels in the Qatari desert, which by the way, its an experience everybody should be able to have. While it is fun to handout with these amazing creatures, you have to be careful with them because of their size and weight. In addition, some of the camels had mussels to prevent them from biting other camels or us for that matter. In all, the best part is getting on the camels and feeding them once you were done.
Qatar is a beautiful up and coming country in Southwest Asia considered to be one of the riches countries in the world. Its sole land border is with Saudi Arabia to the south, with the rest of tis territory surrounded by the Persian Gulf. A strait in the Persian Gulf separates Qatar from the nearby island state of Bahrain.
